SUS304-CSP Stainless Steel Strip Appearance
The surface of strip shall be well finished and free from defects detrimental to practical use; however, those supplied in coiled-state may inevitably contain some abnormal portions since processing of strip generally does not allow opportunity for defects
removal.
SUS304-CSP Stainless Steel Strip Marking
The strips having been passed the inspection shall be legibly marked on each bundle (package) with the following items. A part of items may be omitted upon the agreement between the purchaser and the manufacturer.
a) Symbol of grade
b) Symbol of temper
c) Dimensions
d) Symbol of tolerance (that according to tolerance symbol of thickness ET or ST shall be marked)
e) Serial number or inspection number
f) Manufacturer's name or its abbreviation
the stainless steel strip mainly used for flat springs and spiral springs. Further, this Standard applies to the cut-to-length which is cut from the strip.
SUS304-CSP Stainless Steel Strip Manufacturing method
The strips shall be manufactured by cold rolling. After cold rolling, SUS420J2-CSP-0 shall be subjected to the annealing, and SUS631-CSP-0 shall be subjected to the solution treatment.
